The Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham has had a refurb this September 2024 — with brand-new darts and karaoke rooms.

Popular pub and grassroots music venue, The Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham, has unveiled a brand-new look this September 2024.

The venue — which was highly commended for Entertainment Venue of the Year in the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards 2024 — reopened on Thursday 12 September 2024 after a two-week closure, revealing a revamped bar and brand-new darts and karaoke rooms.

Known for its live music spanning emo, punk and metal to acoustic acts, with regular gigs from touring bands and local artists on its Barn Stage, punters will now be able to hire their own karaoke room for a singalong, with slots available to pre-book from Monday 23 September 2024.

For sports fans, as well as live games on TV and pool tables upstairs to play on, visitors are invited to step up to the oche and try their hand at darts, with boards also available to pre-book online from Monday, too.

The refurb has been completed just in time for Fresher's Week 2024 and The Frog's most ambitious event of the year — its free three-day music and comedy festival, FrogFest, which is taking place from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September 2024.

FrogFest boasts performances from over 25 bands, 20 acoustic artists and 20 comedy acts, as well as food pop-ups and student drink offers, with free entry across the entire weekend.

The newly-refurbished Frog and Fiddle is open from 2pm to 12am on Monday; 12pm to 12am Tuesday to Thursday; 12pm to 1am Friday and Saturday; and 12pm to 10.30pm Sunday.

The Frog and Fiddle is also wheelchair accessible and LGBTQIA+ friendly.
