Barn on the Farm 2024 cancelled — but set to make 'huge comeback' in 2025

Barn on the Farm is cancelled for 2024, but new dates have been announced for summer 2025.

One of Gloucestershire's best-loved festivals, Barn on the Farm has announced it will not be running in 2024 — with sights set on an epic return in 2025.

Taking to Instagram, organisers of the internationally-recognised festival described the difficulties currently facing music events, stating that they would rather use their time this year 'to focus on planning 2025 and making a huge comeback', over being 'on the rocks financially.'

With 2023 being its crowning year as Best Small Festival in the UK, the team expressed their gratitude to those who supported last year's festival — which saw the likes of BRIT Award nominees, Olivia Dean, Caity Baser, Holly Humberstone and Sam Ryder take to the stage — but also mentioned the uncertainty that independent festivals are coming up against.

A new date has been set for the 2025 edition of the festival, with tickets soon to be available for when it takes place from Thursday 3 until Sunday 6 July 2025.

But all is not lost for the county's festivalgoers — check out SoGlos's round up of unmissable music events in Gloucestershire for 2024.
