Gloucestershire's oldest castle is not only a family-favourite visitor attraction but a leading UK filming location, having set the scene for high-profile productions like Poldark, Johnny English Strikes Again and The Other Boleyn Girl.
Last year, scenes for the second and final season of Wolf Hall, the critically acclaimed BBC adaptation of Hilary Mantel's Tudor trilogy, were shot at Berkeley Castle, bringing famous actors like Mark Rylance and Damian Lewis to Gloucestershire.
Now, to mark its involvement in the production, Berkeley Castle is hosting an exclusive costume exhibition, featuring six costumes worn by the stars of Wolf Hall.
Giving fans a chance to peek behind-the-scenes for a limited-time only, the exhibition showcases some of the historically accurate costumes used in the production, designed to evoke the opulence of Tudor courtroom attire.
There's also a striking mural on display in the Morning Room, painted specifically for Wolf Hall, that's sure to be a point of interest for film, TV and history enthusiasts alike.
This month-long exhibition opens on Wednesday 6 April and can be explored during the castle's opening hours.
And visitors can even catch sight of King Henry VIII himself on Saturday 13 April, when Tudor Day brings living history performers to the castle for an immersive historical experience to complement the exhibition.
See Thomas Cromwell, Anne Boleyn and other Tudor characters wandering the grounds, telling their stories and re-enacting the drama of the Tudor dynasty.
The Wolf Hall costume exhibition and Tudor Day are both included in admission to Berkeley Castle, which costs £16 for adults and £8 for children aged three to 16. Children under three go free.
Berkeley Castle is open from 11am to 5pm, Sunday to Wednesday, as well as on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 April for the Easter bank holiday weekend.
