Sudeley Castle is offering free family season passes to anyone who can volunteer for the 2018 season.

Fans of Sudeley Castle are being offered the chance to become part of the history this year, as it looks for volunteers to help welcome visitors.

In return for supporting tour guides and maintaining the castle’s beautiful gardens, volunteers will be given a free family season pass for the Tudor castle. Travel expenses, discount at the Terrace Restaurant and full training will also be provided.

It’s hoped that volunteers will be able to offer at least one day a week of their time throughout the season, which runs from Monday 5 March to Friday 21 December 2018. No experience is necessary, though locals with an interest in the castle who are keen to enhance the visitor experience are encouraged to apply.

Lady Ashcombe, who owns and lives at Sudeley Castle & Gardens, said: ‘Each season I am delighted to be able open my beautiful home to the public, however with over 1,000 years of history to preserve, Sudeley requires a lot of love and attention – which is why we value our wonderful volunteers so much.’

Anyone wanting to get involved is asked to call on (01242) 602308, email kim.gibbon@sudeley.org.uk or visit sudeleycastle.co.uk directly.
