The addition of a dedicated area for those with children in tow promises to make RIAT 2022 a more family-friendly experience than ever.

This year’s Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, taking place Friday 15 to Sunday 17 July 2022, promises to be the most family-friendly yet.

As well as free entry for under 18s when accompanied by an adult, RIAT 2022 has a new family enclosure designed to make visiting with little ones more relaxing.

Complete with a large, grassed area for picnics and unreserved garden seating for watching the aerobatic displays in comfort, families can also take advantage of private toilets with baby changing facilities and plenty of fun activities for children.

From face painting and colouring in, to playing outdoor games like giant Connect Four and Jenga, taking part in circus skills workshops or dancing their socks off at the silent disco, being ‘bored’ is not an option.

Tickets for the family enclosure, open Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July 2022, must be purchased with general admission and cost £35 for adults and £20 for children under 18 per day.
