A new exhibition at Cirencester’s New Brewery Arts is showcasing the talents of the local crafting community.

Each year, the arts venue hosts 25,000 hours of creative workshops and courses on everything from watercolour painting and portraiture, to macramé, jewellery-making and ceramics – and its latest exhibition Raw Talent, taking place from Saturday 2 to Sunday 31 July 2022, features work created by local crafters at some of these workshops.

With New Brewery Arts’ overall aim being to connect the community with craft, the free exhibition celebrates what’s been created at New Brewery Arts over the past year and offers the community a chance to see and buy some of the items – not to mention get a feel for what can be achieved on one of its workshops or courses.

Beth Alden, CEO of New Brewery Arts, said: ‘So much creativity takes place in the studios here at New Brewery Arts – and not just in the professional studios but on the workshops, courses and classes that take place here every day.

‘Raw Talent is a fun moment to see what goes on in these classes. I’m forever amazed by the skill, creativity and joy that our classes bring out in everyone, and Raw Talent is the moment we all get to see this.’

Raw Talent opens to the public on Saturday 2 July 2022.
