Launched by Grayson Perry during lockdown to help the nation find comfort and company through art, as part of his Channel 4 television series, artwork from season two of Grayson’s Art Club will be featuring in a brand new Bristol exhibition, this winter 2021.

Running from Saturday 4 December 2021 to Sunday 4 September 2022 exclusively at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, there are plenty of opportunities to see the Grayson’s Art Club exhibition – with timeslot tickets available to book now until the end of the year. There is no set ticket price and organisers ask that you pay what you can.

The artwork featured in the new Bristol exhibition have been created by the public, established artists and celebrities, and are described by organisers as ‘powerful and very personal responses to the pandemic and form a lasting artistic record of the unprecedented times the nation has experienced together.’

Season two of Grayson’s Art Club was aired from February 2021 and each week Perry hosted the show from his studio with his wife, Philippa Perry – and their cat, Kevin! A new theme was explored each week, with members of the public invited to share their own artworks – with thousands of entries submitted throughout the series – from paintings and photography to ceramics and textiles.

These works will feature in the exhibition exclusively at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery alongside pieces by Grayson and Philippa Perry and the guest celebrities and artists.

Contributing celebrities include Alex Horne, Anneka Rice, Boy George, Derren Brown, Holly Walsh, Jane Seymour, Johnny Vegas, Lianne La Havas, Mawaan Rizwan and Russell Tovey. Guest artists include David Bailey, Yinka Ilori, Lucy Sparrow, Polly Morgan, Sir Frank Bowling and Chila Kumari Burman-Singh.
