Glastonbury Festival 2020 has been cancelled following Government advice on social gatherings amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

Thousands of people from Gloucestershire would have travelled to the world famous music festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset at the end of June to see acts including Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa.

Organisers made the decision to cancel Glastonbury before ticketholders were due to pay the full balance on Wednesday 1 April 2020, and have reassured people who have paid deposits that they will be able to roll them over to next year or receive a full refund.
