Keen collectors have the chance to own some TV history, as the iconic Daleks from Doctor Who — along with a coat in the style of Colin Baker’s Doctor and a knitted scarf — go under the hammer at John Rolfe Auctions in Tetbury.

Calling all Whovians — an auction house in Tetbury is offering Time Lord fans the opportunity to take home their very own villainous Dalek.

Invading the auction room, the emotionless aliens from the BBC’s long-running science fiction series, Doctor Who, will go under the hammer in a sale at John Rolfe Auctions in Babdown on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February 2024.

Up for grabs is a red Dalek, which is believed to have formed part of an exhibition at Longleat, while its bronze counterpart may have featured on television in the relaunched Doctor Who series in the early 2000s. The second cyborg is equipped with a seat and controls for its weapons, and saleroom manager, Ali Lidbetter, took it for a spin around the warehouse.

Mr Rolfe said: 'These have come in privately, with no reserve, so here to be sold in a collector sale. We've got further collector's items from film and television, including some Muhammad Ali photographs.'

A coat in the style of Colin Baker’s Doctor and a knitted scarf will also go under the hammer in the Collectors’ Sale.
