Providing a new way for homeless people in and around Gloucester to access vital supplies, Gloucester City Mission has launched an innovative vending machine which is now available to use.
Stocking essentials including sandwiches, water, toiletries, sanitary items and underwear, the vending machine is house at The George Whitefield Centre in Gloucester and has been stocked with the help of donations from Sainsbury’s on Northgate Street and Lauren’s Caterers.
With tokens available from The George Whitefield Centre, homeless people can use the free service to help them, especially during the warmer months when dehydration and sunburn are an increased risk.
