Cheltenham Town Hall has announced a fantastic line-up of events taking place this spring 2022 – with live music, theatre, comedy and a chance to get up close to life-like dinosaurs.

On Tuesday 17 May 2022, West End hit Seven Drunken Nights takes audiences back to legendary pub O’Donoghue’s in 1962, where it all started for The Dubliners – bringing 50 years of the iconic Irish band’s music to life, promising to get everyone dancing in the aisles.

Writer, poet, TV and film producer Henry Normal brings his show Escape Plan to the Town Hall on Saturday 28 May 2022. A BAFTA award winner, Normal co-wrote Mrs Merton and The Royle Family, as well as working with Steve Coogan on live shows, TV and even a feature film – not to mention executive producing Gavin and Stacey, The Mighty Boosh, Red Dwarf and Alan Partridge.

Promising men in uniform, ripped shirts, chiselled muscles and plenty of misbehaviour, the Dreamboys visit the Town Hall on their Too Hard To Resist tour. The adults-only West End smash hit is in town for one night only on Friday 27 May 2022.

Music fans have plenty to choose from, with Genesis Connected performing the music of Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Mike & The Mechanics on Friday 20 May 2022; jazz lovers can enjoy a rousing evening of hits from The Great American Songbook when the 28-piece Down for the Count Orchestra takes to the stage for Voices of Swing on Wednesday 1 June 2022; while classical aficionados can take in music by Mendelssohn, Bruch and Beethoven performed by Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and hear a pre-concert talk on Thursday 16 June 2022.

There’s roarsome fun for families too, with Dinosaur Adventure Live. Called ‘the greatest prehistoric show on Earth,’ go on an epic journey that brings you face to face with life-like dinosaurs. Hear them roar, watch them feed and learn all about these incredible creatures in this interactive show on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 May 2022.
