Cheltenham Animal Shelter has announced that it’s on the hunt for employees to take part in one of its Helping Hands sessions, complete with dog walking and cat cuddling.

Promising the perfect excuse to leave the office behind, the corporate volunteer days are available on Wednesdays and begin at 8.30am with a tour, before heading off with the kennel team to pet some pooches.

Perfect for animal lovers, the volunteers will then help clean out the kennels, cat pods and prepare a host of tasty treats for the furry friends.

After a quick break for lunch, the team will spend the afternoon stroking small animals, cuddling cats and pampering pooches and all for a good cause too!

Volunteer days are completely free of charge – however, Cheltenham Animal Shelter do encourage volunteers to fundraise what they can before visiting.
