The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham has unveiled the name of the final retailer to join its menu of eateries — with Gloucestershire's first Wingstop UK opening in the last remaining unit within the development, further strengthening the venue’s appeal as the south west’s premier destination for dining, retail and leisure.

Completing the tenant lineup and following quickly on the heels of recent openings, Go Outdoors and Menkind, alongside longer standing tenants such as Flight ClubMowgliPhoThe Alchemist; and Hub Box, Wingstop UK will open to Cheltenham diners in summer 2025, positioned between Søstrene Grene and F45.

Originally founded in the US in 1994, Wingstop launched in the UK in 2018 and will have 57 sites across the country by the end of 2024, including nearby Bristol and Birmingham and major cities such as London, Manchester and Leeds.

Offering 'chicken wings from the wing experts' the new arrival brings a distinctive flair to The Brewery Quarter’s mix of high-quality dining options, with diners looking forward to a signature menu of wings, tenders, burgers, and sides — all freshly cooked to order and hand-sauced-and-tossed in a choice of ten distinctive flavours ranging from classic lemon pepper to the fan-favourite, hickory smoked barbecue.

But that's not all, as milkshakes, freestyle drinks and Camden Town Beer, as well as a churro selection for dessert, are also on offer.

Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties — managing agents of the scheme — said: 'We’re delighted to welcome Wingstop UK to The Brewery Quarter and are proud to have secured such a popular brand for the final unit within the scheme.

'Wingstop UK’s decision to join us reflects our ongoing commitment to curating a destination that offers a vibrant mix of dining, entertainment and retail options in the heart of Cheltenham. Wingstop UK’s arrival is highly anticipated, and we’re confident it will be a fantastic addition to our diverse community of venues.'

Chris Sherriff, CEO of Lemon Pepper Holdings and master franchisee of Wingstop UK said: 'The Brewery Quarter stood out to us as an ideal location due to its dynamic mix of offerings and high foot traffic. We’re excited to bring our signature wings, bold flavours and exceptional service to Cheltenham, where we’re confident that locals and visitors alike will enjoy the Wingstop UK experience.

'We look forward to becoming part of this vibrant community and contributing to The Brewery Quarter’s success.'

While an official opening date is yet to be confirmed, Wingstop UK is expected to open at The Brewery Quarter in summer 2025.
