Hayley Selway is taking on the role of chief executive at Two Rivers Housing from December 2023.

Two Rivers Housing has appointed a new chief executive who will join the team from December 2023, replacing Garry King who officially steps down in January 2024 after 20 years in the position.

Hayley Selway joins the Gloucestershire housing association from Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA), where she successfully held the chief executive position since early 2019.

Overseeing the transformation of CCHA over the past five years, Selway led the organisation to become a top performer, driven by its values; exceptional standards for customer care; and strong governance and financial performance, in the heart of the Welsh capital.

Selway brings with her a wealth of knowledge within the housing sector, having also held senior positions at Taff Housing Association, Tal Calon Community Housing, Vale of Glamorgan County Borough Council and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council.

Group chair of Two Rivers Housing, Yvonne Leishman, said: 'We are delighted that Hayley will be joining us as our new chief executive. It was important that we found the right person to take our organisation forward, building on the solid foundations we already have in place and driving us onward as we start the next chapter of our history.

'I am confident that through Hayley’s leadership, Two Rivers Housing will thrive and continue to ensure that families in our communities have warm, safe, affordable homes for many years to come.'

Selway added: 'I am absolutely thrilled that I will be working with Two Rivers Housing. The association has a fantastic reputation, under the leadership of Garry King, for delivering great services and building affordable homes throughout the Forest of Dean and the wider Gloucestershire area.

'I am excited to build on the impressive legacy established by Garry and the team.'
