RE Recruitment, which has an office in Cheltenham, says its services will be ‘better than ever’ following its merger with Truly Tailored.

Cheltenham-based recruitment agency Truly Tailored, which specialises in supporting the SME market, is joining with larger local agency RE Recruitment this April 2024.

The agency is merging with RE due to challenges it foresees to maintaining its services while still delivering a fair market price for clients, with changes to temporary employment currently being debated by the government.

It says that becoming a part of larger agency RE, which provides recruitment services across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire, will enable it to 'weather the storm' of any changes when they happen.

The merger marks an exciting new chapter for RE — which was recently named one of the UK's leading recruiters for 2024 by The Financial Times —  enabling it to grow its network and acquire a wealth of local knowledge and expertise from the Truly Tailored team and its managing director, Abi Howell.

RE Recruitment's founder, Richard East, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Truly Tailored Recruitment and managing director Abi Howell to RE.

'In the Gloucestershire region, Abi is a traditional and honest recruiter and she genuinely cares about both the customer and jobseeker’s experience. Her network in, and knowledge of, the local area is extensive and together our offering will be better then ever.'

Abi added: 'We are excited to merge with Richard, James (Gibbs, RE group managing director), and the team at RE at such a pivotal time.

'I have over 24 years of experience in recruitment and I have always had a strong relationship with Richard and James. We have a collective passion for maintaining high standards in the industry and now is the perfect time to join forces.'

Truly Tailored is reassuring its clients that there will be no day-to-day changes and it will continue to communicate with them through the usual methods, but the Truly Tailored brand will be phased out over the coming months and its website will become inactive.
