A local centre in Twigworth, which is part of a major development by Robert Hitchins, has been completed by family-owned Gloucestershire building contractors EG Carter and Co.

The development on the outskirts of Gloucester is set to include 725 new homes and a primary school, as well as a 4,000 sq ft Co-operative store, along with five other units ranging from shops, cafés, takeaways and pharmacies, as well as parking and electrical charging points.

A new access road and roundabout has also been built from the A38 between Gloucester and Tewkesbury to provide a way into the new development.
