Law firm Thrings has 'strengthened its leading private client team' by appointing new partner Ben Coulson to its Lydney office.

Described as a succession and tax expert, Coulson has joined Thrings from Shakespeare Martineau, and brings with him a decade of experience in private client law, including tax matters and estate planning, and regularly works with high-net-worth clients.

Having expanded to Lydney and Ross-on-Wye through its merger with Okells FrancisLaw in 2022, Thrings is continuing to strengthen its presence in the Wye Valley with key appointments to its teams.

Coulson said: 'Private client law is wide-ranging, but it consists of some of the most personal matters to individuals and families and we take the responsibility very seriously in ensuring our clients receive the best care and advice.'
