SoGlos is in some of the most highly respected company in the media industry, with The Telegraph, Radio Times and BBC Good Food also in the running for the best online consumer brand category.

Newly appointed CEO of SoGlos's parent company SoPublishing, Michelle Fyrne, said: 'Making it to the finals in these highly respected awards, particularly in this important online brand category, really cements how far SoGlos has come as a media brand over the past 17 years. It is a wonderful achievement and great recognition of the unique So brand in preparation for expansion plans in the pipeline.

'SoGlos has developed as a brand that our growing number of readers and partners have valued and trusted for almost two decades.

'Reaching the finals alongside such heavyweight national titles really is recognition that we are making strides in our mission to revolutionise regional media and we are thrilled that that is being recognised far beyond the county borders.

'Our fast-paced, positive style of quality journalism continues to celebrate the region and our rising reader engagement also tells us we're on the right track.'
