A specialist cyber security and technology recruitment firm from Gloucestershire has revealed huge growth in the last 18 months.
To those working towards the county establishing itself as the cyber capital of the UK, the rise and rise of InfoSec People will be seen as proof progress is afoot.
The Cheltenham-headquartered business saw its own headcount grow from six staff to 17, including the return of principal recruitment partner, James Marklove, and a doubling of its turnover.
‘InfoSec People is now working through its next phase of growth, aiming to build the team to 25 people by 2022 and expanding its services even further into consultancy, providing programme solutions to deliver key cyber security and technology transformation requirements for its clients,’ said a spokesperson for the business.
The business has also been shortlisted in the National Recruiter Awards 2021 for Recruitment Agency of the Year, with results due in September 2021.
And Chris Dunning-Walton, founder and managing director, has been shortlisted for the SC Europe Awards in the Outstanding Contribution category – alongside several cyber security stalwarts for his work in founding CyNam.
InfoSec People has grown its permanent and contract offerings and diversified, launching a stand-alone executive search practice called Sentients to focus on CISO and CIO engagements across the UK and Europe.
It has also created an advisory board of cyber and tech leaders, including several FTSE100 CIOs and CISOs, to assist with future growth.
