World-leading dental bur manufacturer Prima Dental Group in Gloucester has announced its new partnership agreement with Premiership winning — and this season’s currently undefeated squad — Gloucester-Hartpury RFC.
As part of this new collaborative partnership, Prima Dental is
pledging its support to various community initiatives, including becoming a
headline sponsor of Gloucester-Hartpury's rugby camps for girls aged seven to
16.
Designed to inspire the next generation of female athletes and support the growth of the women's game, this season's clubs will not only give girls access to opportunities in rugby but engineering, too — continuing Prima's mission to inspire Gloucestershire's youngsters to consider a career within the sector.
Combining engineering and rugby, the partnership specifically aims
to challenge outdated stereotypes inferring that the two sectors are
exclusively for men, as well as champion the positive parallels needed to
succeed in both: determination, resilience, training, and
commitment.
Prima sponsored the latest camp, which hosted 185 attendees over
the two days of training in January 2024, and looks forward to sponsoring the
upcoming holiday camp during the February half term.
James Forrester, CEO at Gloucester-Hartpury Rugby said: 'Prima is a fantastic business for us to be in partnership with. It is great to see that it shares our vision for both the club, women’s rugby, and the Gloucester community.'
Prima Dental is looking forward to directly contributing to the success of women's rugby and helping the sport to flourish, while highlighting the engineering opportunities for young girls with a love of rugby.
