Build a scarecrow for Painswick Rococo Garden's October half term trail for some free advertising — and team building fun!

Gloucestershire businesses, organisations and schools have the opportunity to get creative and contribute to this year's autumn trail at Painswick Rococo Garden, one of the county's most popular destinations for family days out during the school holidays.

This October half term, it's hosting The Great Scarecrow Hunt, filling the 18th century pleasure garden with handmade scarecrows for visitors to find.

And local businesses can get involved with the scarecrow-making fun, too, by crafting their own straw person to feature on the trail — displayed with its name, the inspiration behind it and a small bit of information about the makers.

Companies not only benefit from a spot of free advertising while the trail is running, from Saturday 28 October to Sunday 5 November 2023; but the chance to enjoy a unique team building activity, too, by getting members of staff involved in the scarecrow-making process.

There's no fee to be included in The Great Scarecrow Hunt trail and Rococo Garden invites participants to be as creative as they like — the only stipulation is that it needs to be family-friendly.

Businesses who are interested in taking part need to contact the Painswick Rococo Garden team by Monday 11 September 2023 via weddings@rococogarden.org.uk.
