Coinciding with Earth Day on Friday 22 April 2022, Gloucester-based IT firm Optimising IT is launching a new climate conscious IT scheme allowing customers to offset their carbon footprint as part of their IT support service.
And by way of setting an example, Optimising IT itself is offsetting twice as much carbon as it emits, while planting lots of trees in the process – all of which will go some way to helping the company achieve its environmental goal of becoming carbon negative.
Describing its new climate conscious scheme as ‘IT for good’, signing up to one of the new Climate Conscious IT plans means customers can enjoy an award-winning IT support service, while offsetting their carbon with immediate effect, should they choose.
For maximum impact, companies can also opt for a plan delivering both immediate and lasting impact, while helping local community projects and charities to ‘do good’ for the world and being invited to participate in local events for charities and community projects.
