Ontic announces new site director at Staverton facility

Emma Jenkins is appointed as site director for manufacturing firm Ontic, to oversee operations at its Staverton facility in Gloucestershire.

A top engineering firm based in Gloucestershire, Ontic supplies mechanical parts to the global aerospace industry.

Global aerospace and defence giant, Ontic, has announced the appointment of Emma Jenkins as the site director of its facility in Staverton.

Jenkins will be managing the Staverton site which is set for rapid growth over the next few years, overseeing the day-to-day management and ensuring operational output and health and safety processes are adhered to.

Ontic's Staverton site specialises in mechanical aerospace part manufacturing and repairs for firms including Boeing, BAE Systems and Airbus.

The new site director has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of engineering and manufacturing industries, from oil and gas to construction and energy, in which she has had the opportunity to work on projects for HS2 and the national grid.

General manager for Rest of World (ROW) at Ontic, Eric Lopes, said: 'Emma's experience running facilities both domestically and internationally will be invaluable to Ontic as we look to expand our operations at the Staverton site.

'Emma rounds out our ROW senior management team, responsible for our UK and Asia operations.'

Jenkins added: 'Having grown up in Gloucestershire, I’m thrilled to join Ontic as it grows globally and thrives in the local area. Seeing how much Ontic contributes to our local economy, as well as our community through CSR activities, makes me proud to know I am giving back to my home county.'
