Gloucestershire-headquartered kitchenware brand ProCook has appointed a new retail director to its senior team, with a view to enhancing the in-store experience for customers.
Joe Pennington joins the firm this March 2025 to help 'shape the future' of its retail operations in a period of store expansion.
Founded in the Cotswolds nearly 30 years ago, ProCook is a leading UK retailer of cookware, tableware and accessories for home kitchens and dining spaces, selling its wares through 65 stores nationwide — including at Gloucester Quays — as well as online.
Having held key roles at renowned brands like Ralph Lauren, Topshop and Topman, White Stuff and most recently with
Charles Tyrwhitt, the firm says Joe brings 'a wealth of experience' and 'a strong track record' for leadership across store networks.
In his new role at ProCook, he will oversee the company’s retail strategy, building its in-store presence to boost customer experience, as well as supporting its 'ambitious' store expansion plans.
Joe said: 'I’m incredibly excited to be joining ProCook at such an exciting stage of its growth journey. I look forward to working closely with the teams to lead the company’s growth and store expansion plans.
'The teams are the heartbeat of every store; and I firmly believe that by working together, we can achieve great success.'
Lee Tappenden, CEO at ProCook, said: 'We are thrilled to welcome Joe to the ProCook family. His experience, leadership and passion for people and retail excellence align perfectly with our vision for growth.
'With Joe at the helm of our retail operations, we are confident in our ability to strengthen
our in-store presence and deliver exceptional customer experiences.'
