New partner appointed at leading Cheltenham tax and advisory firm

An experienced tax and investment specialist has been appointed partner at leading tax and advisory firm Crowe UK, which has an office in Cheltenham, this August 2024.

With more than 15 years of experience in the sector, John Manis becomes a partner in the workforce advisory team at Crowe UK this August 2024.

Leading audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe UK has appointed a new partner this August 2024, to propel its workforce advisory services 'to new heights'.

John Manis, who has more than 15 years of experience advising companies and employees on taxation and incentivisation, becomes a partner in the workforce advisory team at Crowe, which operates nationally with offices in Bristol, Cheltenham, Kent, London, Manchester, the Midlands and the Thames Valley.

With particular expertise in the taxation of investment funds, John advises companies and employees on setting up tax-advantaged incentivisation structures and equity plans, working with investment funds on their advisory structures and transactions.

Crowe says that John joins its senior team at 'a time of great change' under the new government, with recently announced changes to the tax treatment of carried interest and further changes to capital gains tax reportedly under consideration.
