The home of the Robins, Cheltenham Town FC announces the stadium's new name.

Cheltenham Town football club has teamed up with Gloucestershire-based electric vehicle charging installer, EVCP Solutions, to bring a brand-new naming rights partner to the ground.

The club's stadium is now officially named 'EV Charger Points Stadium' for the next three seasons, starting with the upcoming 2024-25 Sky Bet League Two campaign.

Alan Lewis, EV Charger Points founder, said: 'Being Cheltenham born and bred, I naturally became a lifelong Robins fan from a young age.

'It is such a proud moment for us to be able to sponsor the stadium and support the club in this way. I am excited to see what the next three years bring for everyone at Cheltenham Town — players, staff and supporters.'

Luke Saunders, commercial marketing manager at Cheltenham Town, added: 'This is a hugely exciting partnership for the club, with a new local company that will be operating on a national scale, founded by a long-standing supporter.

'Alan is a familiar face around the club and his passion for Cheltenham Town is clear to see. EVCP solutions’ commitment by signing a multi-year deal makes a huge impact which will see them become one of our key commercial partners.'

The Robins will play their first game in the newly named stadium against Championship Bristol City in the penultimate pre-season friendly on Friday 26 July 2024, with kick off at 7.45pm.
