Cheltenham’s new M&S has revealed its opening date — offering a sneak preview of what Gloucestershire shoppers can expect when they visit Centrum Retail Park foodhall this spring.
Back in June 2024, the brand closed its M&S foodhall in Kingsditch Retail Park in Cheltenham to move to a larger premises.
Now, launching on Wednesday 9 April 2025 — with Percy Pig in
attendance — the striking 15,000 sq ft foodhall offers the latest spring treats for
all the family, including Easter eggs and hot cross buns.
Customers can find displays packed with
fresh produce, sourced from M&S’ 'Select Farm' partners and the retailer’s 'Remarksable Value' and 'Dropped and Locked' ranges of everyday staples, too — part of its trusted value promise.
There's also an in-store bakery with takeaway coffee, an assortment of bread and pastries throughout the day, accompanied by a variety of cheeses from the M&S cheese barge.
Shoppers can also use 'click and collect' to pick up online orders at designated pick up and returns.
Regional manager for M&S, Ali Ivery, said: 'The countdown is well and truly on for our new store to open in April 2025.
'We are busy with preparations and we are so excited to get going.
'We are investing in a brand-new, bigger, better M&S foodhall at Centrum Retail Park in Cheltenham, which will offer local customers a much wider range of M&S food products.
'The new 15,000 sq ft store will be 50 per cent bigger than our previous offering with a fresh market-style foodhall and a range of new features including displays of great quality, trusted value produce from M&S select farms and a show-stopping new M&S bakery offering fresh daily-baked bread and pastries.'
The store is expected to open on Wednesday 9 April 2025.
