Internet services and web hosting provider Fasthosts — an affiliate of European digitalisation group IONOS — has been headquartered in Gloucester since 2000.

Gloucester's £107 million office, residential and retail development The Forum officially has its first tenant, with the city's own international web hosting firm, Fasthosts, opening its new offices this January 2025.

Fasthosts — an award-winning international hosting provider, founded in Gloucester at the turn of the century — takes on 19,000 sq ft of office space at one of The Forum's two main office buildings, No 2 Cathedral View, relocating its team of more than 200 employees from its former premises in Southgate Street.

The opening was celebrated with a launch event attended by the Fasthosts team, local civic leaders including Gloucester MP Alex McIntyre and city council leader Jeremy Hilton; and contractors who worked on the offices' development.

Boasting annual turnover of £44.3 million in 2022 and featuring in the SoGlos Top 100 Businesses in Gloucestershire 2024, Fasthosts — an affiliate of European digitalisation group IONOS — provides a range of internet services for business, from domain names and web hosting, to online marketing tools and dedicated servers.

Along with its Grade A office space, the wider Forum development will also include a 131-bedroom IHG boutique hotel; a 398-space car park with 39 EV charging points; a new Tesco Express; and 19 energy-efficient apartments once completed.
