A fiercely competitive – and immensely fun! – day of sporting action and relaxed networking was shared on the fairway, at the second annual SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Golf Day in partnership with Optimising IT.
Hosted by Brickhampton Court Golf Complex on Friday 15 September 2023, the event was uniquely open to golfing- and non-golfing businesspeople alike – reflecting how accessibility and inclusion are key to both SoGlos and Optimising IT’s business ethos.
Ranging from accomplished golfers to first-time beginners, invited guests from the Gloucestershire business community, alongside representatives from SoGlos’s and Optimising IT’s teams, took part in a series of testing golf challenges on the nine-hole course, putting green and driving range under the expert guidance of Brickhampton’s PGA pros, before the team competitions commenced.

Marshall, RRA Architects, WSP solicitors, McLoughlin Planning, Rappor, National Star and Feel Complete took part in morning and
afternoon golfing challenges – with a team of four named victorious in each session
and awarded a gold medal and bragging rights for the year to come!
Over a relaxed networking lunch at Nineteen at Brickhampton, guests heard about SoGlos’s ambitious mission to revolutionise regional media and Optimsing IT’s pride in being a certified B Corp organisation with ambitious expansion plans across the south west. And there was also time for tales from the boardroom and fairway to be shared, and valuable county business connections to be made, during what has become an annual highlight of the Gloucestershire business events calendar.
