Made in Gloucestershire is celebrating over 160 members and affiliates in two years, as the county's leading business showcase for food and drink producers.
First launched in 2022, the initiative was created to promote Gloucestershire's local producers, farmers, farm shops and hospitality venues, as well as pubs, cafes restaurants and caterers — raising public awareness about the county's long-standing tradition for getting stuck in and making things by hand.
With hundreds of passionate food and drink producers in the region, Made in Gloucestershire helps businesses stand out by building on the area's reputation for producing high quality, locally made food and drink.
Spanning butchers and bakers, sustainable beer brewers, coffee roasters and independent dairy farms, its directory represents the diversity and scale of Gloucestershire's thriving food and drink sector — with well-known names like hot sauce producer Tubby Tom's, Ethical Addiction Coffee Roasters and Wholly Gelato part of the scheme.
All members receive a directory listing on the Made in Gloucestershire website, with links to their social media channels and website; they'll also be able to display the Made in Gloucestershire logo on their products and website to prove the origins of their produce.
Members are supported to reach new customers, from local residents and tourists visiting Gloucestershire who actively want to shop local, to organisations invested in supporting local businesses.
Best of all, the Made in Gloucestershire scheme is fully funded, meaning all businesses can enjoy free membership and promotion.
To be eligible for membership, you must have a Gloucestershire postcode and your final product must be produced in Gloucestershire. If your business is part of a chain or franchise, the original outlet would need to have been based in Gloucestershire.
