International law firm rewards 'top drawer' Cheltenham staff with senior promotions

The Cheltenham office of international private capital law firm, Charles Russell Speechlys, promotes two of its lawyers to partner and senior associate this April 2025, recognising their 'significant roles' in helping to grow the firm worldwide.

Cheltenham's Claudine Morgan and Briony Richards have both been handed promotions by international law firm Charles Russell Speechlys, this April 2025.

A new partner and senior associate have been appointed at the Cheltenham office of Charles Russell Speechlys, following a year of sustained growth for the international law firm.

Dispute resolution lawyer Claudine Morgan has been promoted to partner; and Briony Richards from the employment team becomes a senior associate, this April 2025.

The appointments come as part of a raft of senior promotions across the firm worldwide, rewarding those who have played significant roles in helping it reach its strategic goal of becoming the 'world's leading' international law firm focusing on private capital.

As a dispute resolution lawyer, Claudine acts for corporate and individual clients on a variety of commercial disputes that are destined for the High Court, such as contractual disputes, breach of fiduciary duties or civil fraud.

Briony provides day-to-day HR support and guidance to employers across a range of sectors, such as fast food, sport and healthcare, representing both claimants and respondents on litigation in the Employment Tribunal, including claims relating to unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, equal pay and discrimination.

In all, Charles Russell Speechlys has announced 28 promotions in the past year across its network of offices in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
