Tabitha Penny is appointed as Hewer FM's first marketing and business development manager.

Gloucester-based gas engineering firm Hewer FM is adding to its senior team with the addition of its first marketing and business development manager.

Putting focus on company growth and brand awareness, the new manager, Tabitha Penny, is tasked with the responsibility of all marketing strategies within Hewer, whilst also continuously looking to identify new business opportunities.

Tabitha will also be managing internal and external campaigns alongside finalising and managing the family firm's brand guidelines and communication channels.

With extensive experience and industry extpertise from previous roles with Sky Media and Global Radio, there are high hopes for Tabitha to take the business to new levels.

The new hiring comes after the news of Hewer FM being bought out by its management, which saw Simon Hewer become CEO, Ian Haughton promoted to managing director, and Ian Leitch and Stuart Hesk become co-owners.

Stuart said: 'We are confident that Tabitha’s skills and passion for driving marketing and business growth and developing innovative marketing strategies will be a valuable asset to the business.

'We are excited to have Tabitha on board and look forward to the great things we will achieve together!'
