Whether you’re a fan of Twisters, Calippos, Soleros or Feasts, Gloucester residents can get their hands on all of them for free on Sunday 18 July 2021 – as Gloucester’s own Wall’s celebrates International Ice Cream Day.
The Barnwood factory, which produces 20 million ice creams every week, is installing a special vending machine at Orchard Square at Gloucester Quays to distribute the tasty treats as part of its ‘Happy Hearts’ campaign.
Anyone who approaches the machine and makes a heart-shaped sign with their hands in front of its camera will be rewarded with a free ice cream.
Andrew Cummings, director at Unilever’s Gloucester factory, said: ‘The city of Gloucester is very important to us as it’s the home of our ice cream factory and our new I’m Wall’s programme.
‘These are just some of the things we’re doing on our choose happier together mission and we are delighted to be making the city a happier place, one ice cream at a time.’
The Wall’s vending machine will be in action between 10am and 6pm on Sunday 18 July 2021.
