Already recognised as one of the UK's centres of sporting excellence, Hartpury University and Hartpury College is inviting businesses to become part of the success story through its Kick Start Campaign - a package of sponsorship options for the year ahead.
It is not just an opportunity for a businesses to align their brands with one of the 10 exciting sports academies and their teams, but a chance to underline their commitment to the county, their community and help the next generation of talent thrive.
First launched in 2021 focusing almost solely on the women's rugby team, Kick Start now also offers companies sponsorship and branding opportunities with Hartpury men's rugby, football, rowing, netball, golf, modern pentathlon, athlete performance and equine academies.
Stuart Emmerson, director of business development at Hartpury, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for businesses to promote themselves, win new business and simultaneously support the next generation of talent.
‘It’s been a challenging time for many of our academies with sport restricted during Covid and we are hoping even more businesses will back this year’s campaign.’
Vitruvius, Renouf Wealth Management, Cityheart and V12 Footwear were some of the businesses to partner with Hartpury last year and reap the rewards.
James Forrester, former Gloucester Rugby and England Rugby number eight, coach, entrepreneur and now head of sponsorship to support business engagement and awareness of opportunities at Hartpury, said: 'This is a great opportunity for businesses to get involved at a level where their support can really make a big difference to the athletes.
'The set-up at Hartpury across all the academies is exceptional already, but the right sponsorship will help everyone involved push the bar ever higher. I would urge anyone interested in the Kick Start campaign get in touch so we can explain more about the benefits and the incredible talent coming through the academies.'
