Key figures from the Gloucestershire business community and beyond will take to the fairways of Brickhampton Court Golf Complex in September for the first ever SoGlos Gloucestershire Golf Day, in partnership with Optimising IT.
Clients from the Gloucestershire-based managed IT services firm and members of the business community will gather for the event at the Staverton course and driving range on Thursday 22 September 2022.
It will be the second in the series staged by SoGlos in support of a business community still adding face-to-face events back into diaries after so long dominated by online only events imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In June, SoGlos also teamed up with accountants Crowe to stage its first SoGlos Gloucestershire Shooting Day at Ian Coley Sporting near Seven Springs.
Todd Gifford, technical director at Optimising IT, said: ‘The day is about having a bit of fun with people we know, some of whom are our clients, but also to meet new people and get to know both them and what their businesses are about too.
‘It is about strengthening current relationships and forging new ones. Relationships are so important – inside and outside work. It should be fun and we are really looking forward to it.’
Optimising IT was founded in 2013 and worked from offices at Cheltenham Film Studios at Arle Court before moving to its current headquarters at Twigworth Court Business Centre, Tewkesbury Road, north of Gloucester.
Today the firm works with county businesses including Creed Foodservices, high profile building firm EG Carter, surveyors Bruton Knowles, engineers Forge Motorsport and Cotswold Distillery as well as companies big and small outside of Gloucestershire and internationally.
It describes itself as a leading provider of IT support and managed services, offering Office 365 licensing, IT consultancy, desktop support, networks, network infrastructure, Microsoft 365, IT support managed services, cyber security, cloud services, G Cloud and more.
Optimising IT is also due to host a charity event on Wednesday 2 November 2022 at Cheltenham Tigers to support Gloucestershire Young Carers and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
