TrinityBridge takes a strategic approach to wealth management.

UK wealth management firm Close Brothers Asset Management, which has an office in Cheltenham, has announced a new name and branding this March 2025.

The firm, which has provided financial services to individuals, families, professionals and businesses across the UK for more than 30 years, is now trading under the name TrinityBridge.

The company has built a strong reputation for helping clients make confident financial choices, which it aims to carry forward into a new era under the new name.

The firm prides itself on supporting clients 'wherever life leads them', from their current finances to retirement and beyond, 'paving the way for future generations'; and believes that clarity is key to building enduring relationships and trust.

Taking a strategic approach to wealth management, its mission is to generate the 'best possible' returns for each of its clients through research-led, multi-asset class investment management services.

It also provides a range of financial planning services designed with 'freedom and security in mind', from tailored investment advice and retirement planning, to estate planning and finance protection; as well as workplace financial wellbeing services.

Senior investment director, Ed Mawle, who has worked in Cheltenham since 1998 and grew up in the Cotswolds near Cirencester, says being based in the regency town is perfect for serving a variety of 'incredible businesses' who are making their mark on a regional, national and international stage.

Ed was one of the first members of the team when the office opened in summer 2023. He said: 'Cheltenham is a remarkable regency town with a vibrant cultural scene that attracts incredible wealth and very well-educated people.'

In his role, he offers a 'listening ear and good advice' to those looking for support through life's financial journey.

Ed added: 'We are the natural home for stewardship of generational wealth.'
