Sustainable haircare brand, Rhyme & Reason, has won the title of Best Natural Shampoo in the 2024 Marie Claire Skin and Hair Awards.
Its Wave Revival shampoo — developed especially for wavy hair by its parent company SLG Brands at its Cheltenham HQ in The Brewery Quarter — was selected by Marie Claire's panel of expert judges, which included dermatologists, celebrity hair stylists and trichologists.
The sustainable haircare brand has been making waves since its launch in January 2021, using the highest-quality natural ingredients and 100 per cent recycled and recyclable packaging. Its products are also vegan and dermatologist-approved.
It's no stranger to awards either, having scooped Best Breakthrough Hair Brand in the GLAMOUR Beauty Power List not long after its launch in 2021.
Announcing its latest win on LinkedIn, SLG's joint managing director, Lucy Beresford, said: 'Since inception, Rhyme & Reason has been dedicated to enabling consumers to make sustainable, natural, clean choices in hair care affordable whilst striving to reduce plastic production.
'We are beyond proud of our achievements including the first-of-its-kind 100 per cent post-consumer recycled packaging in the USA which set a new standard for sustainability.
'This couples with our commitment to giving back through our participation in '1% for the Planet', supporting environmental causes.
'We are truly grateful for the recognition and thank our retail partners for supporting our mission.'
Rhyme & Reason haircare is available to buy via Boots and Amazon in the UK and Target in the US.
