Active Gloucestershire is committed to creating a more inclusive county by opening facilities that can be accessed by communities and groups.

The team wants places where it’s easy to be active, no matter anyone's circumstances.

To make that happen it's looking for three fresh faces to bring expertise and energy to the charity in its bid to help improve people's lives.

The vacancies include a senior project officer within the children and young people team, a project officer working for disability inclusion and a digital communication officer.

The senior project officer would work closely with key partners in Gloucestershire to increase opportunities for children and young people to be more active.

The role includes managing high-level contracts and communicating with commissioners and policy makers, as well as working with schools and community partners to find innovative ways to inspire children and young people to increase their activity levels.

Active Gloucestershire's new project officer for the disability team will work towards reducing the inequalities gap within physical activity that exists for so many people with disabilities.

Working with a range of community partners, the role brings a chance to work collaboratively to find innovative ways of inspiring the people they work with to increase their activity levels and provide inclusive, accessible and welcoming environments.

It's crucial people know about Active Gloucestershire's work and so a digital communication officer is also needed to raise awareness.

Creating marketing content for social media, email, website and print is part of the role, as well as creating articles, press releases, images, video, podcasts and infographics.

There's also the chance to organise marketing events as well as editing and evaluating Active Gloucestershire's websites.
