The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham has unveiled the name of the latest restaurant to join its menu of eateries - with a new PizzaExpress opening in the last remaining space for food and beverage businesses at the town centre destination.
Doors to Cheltenham's brand-new PizzaExpress are expected to open to customers in late autumn 2022.
Cheltenham's newest pizza restaurant will join Flight Club; Mowgli; Pho
Vietnamese Street Café; The Alchemist; and Hub Box, already at The Brewery Quarter, alongside retailers including Urban
Outfitters and attractions such as Everlast Gym, Cineworld and Escape Hunt.
Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties, which manages the site and has been overseeing its £30 million regeneration project since 2014, said: ‘Confidence in The Brewery Quarter has never been higher, with interest in last remaining retail units still strong.
‘Our line-up appeals to a broad demographic of people, and PizzaExpress will no doubt be a welcome attraction to many.’
Oli Marcroft, head of Leisure at KLM Retail, said: ‘Despite other interest, it was felt that with their broad and loyal customer base and an exciting new fit out, PizzaExpress would be the ideal tenant to occupy the last available F&B (food and beverage) unit in the scheme.
‘The scheme continues to trade above expectations despite the economic headwinds and we look forward to the latest opening.’
Helen Belli, territory manager at PizzaExpress, said: ‘The Brewery Quarter is such a vibrant scheme and popular destination for eating out in Gloucestershire, so we’re excited to be a part of it.’
PizzaExpress Cheltenham will move into the ground floor of Unit 13, next to Cupola Tower.
Upstairs in the unit is also being re-fitted to become 4,000 square feet of office space.
