Entries are officially open for the third annual SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards, proudly headline co-sponsored by Hazlewoods and Willans LLP.
Gloucestershire businesses big and small, whether new or long-established, can put themselves forward for a prestigious SGGBA – with 22 diverse categories to enter via soglos.com/business-awards.
SoGlos has worked closely this this year's headline co-sponsors, category sponsors and partners to keep SGGBA fresh and fair, with equal opportunity for Gloucestershire businesses, entrepreneurs and leaders of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds to win.
First staged in 2021 to support and celebrate local businesses and entrepreneurial talent in
the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, SGGBA caught the mood of the moment and quickly became Gloucestershire's leading business awards, culminating in one of the most exciting events in the county's calendar.
James Fyrne, managing director of SoGlos, said: ‘Our first year of the awards was at Weston Aviation’s stunning Staverton hangar; last year we were at the incredible University of Gloucestershire Business School, home of The Growth Hub and GFirst LEP; and this year we will be at yet another exciting venue – Gloucester South Community Fire Station.’
Up to 450 guests are expected at the invitation-only event on Thursday 19 October 2023, where BBC journalist and compère for the evening, Steve Knibbs, will unveil the winners – including the overall Business of the Year award, selected by headline co-sponsors Hazlewoods and Willans LLP.
The awards evening is set to be another event to remember, made possible thanks to the support of SGGBA's incredible partners, including PR Production Services, pizza pros Fabioni’s, street food firm Hungry Monkey, ice cream aficionados Wholly Gelato, hydration specialist Water Coolers Direct, genius gin makers Sibling Distillery and cocktail connoisseur The Drunken Mare.
