Creed Foodservice, a wholesale catering company trading throughout the UK, has appointed Miles Roberts as its new managing director.

Roberts will oversee the operations and staff at the national organisation — with a registered office in Staverton — to ensure it upholds its renowned reputation for excellent customer service and support.

Established in 1972, the family business has more than 50 years of experience delivering quality food and drink products from meat and dairy to desserts and alcohol, all from its multi-temperature distribution centres that offer national coverage.

Specialising in commercial wholesale catering, Creed partners with clients in a variety of sectors including care, education, leisure destinations and general hospitality.

As of December 2022, Creed reached a turnover of more than £100 million — an impressive increase of £36 million from the previous year.

The firm also employs more than 300 people throughout the UK, ranging from administration teams to managerial staff.

It was listed in the top 75 large companies in the UK to work for in 2023, with general manager Patrick Nayler taking home the accolade of Wholesale Manager of the Year at the 2023 Federation of Wholesale Distributers Gold Medal Awards in December 2023.
