Buckland Manor has secured award-winning chef Edward Marsh in an exciting new chapter for the hotel.

Popular and highly skilled chef, Edward Marsh, has joined luxury Cotswolds hotel Buckland Manor as head chef.

Arriving at Buckland Manor near Broadway, in October 2024, Edward has joined the team from the Michelin starred and 4 AA rosette kitchen at The Manor House in Castle Coombe, where he previously worked as head chef from 2021.

Edward has also worked with Hywel Jones at Lucknam Park and has held a spread of titles including south west chef of the year 2019/20. He was also named one of ‘30 under 30’ recipients of a prestigious industry Caterer Acorn Award in 2020.

Edward said: 'I’m delighted to have joined the team at Buckland Manor and am looking forward to developing menus that tell stories of seasonality, local produce and homegrown ingredients.

'With the market garden of England, the Vale of Evesham, on the doorstep and fresh produce from the manor’s grounds, I’m spoilt for choice and my dishes will stay true to their location.'

General manager at Buckland Manor, Marcellin Hardouin, said: 'We are thrilled to have Edward join us to lead our kitchen team in developing mouth-watering, innovative and modern menus for our guests.

'We have been lucky enough to taste some of his dishes already and Buckland Manor diners are in for a delicious treat.'

The restaurant at Buckland Manor, which is owned by Andrew Brownsword Hotels, is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
