Cotswold RAW is backing Gloucester-Hartpury Women's rugby team for a second season, extending its partnership with the club as an official sponsor.
A long-standing supporter of Hartpury University and Hartpury College, where many of its team studied, Cotswold RAW became a sponsor of the university's women's rugby union team — a unified squad of Gloucester Rugby and Hartpury University RFC — last season, which saw Gloucester-Hartpury make history by winning the Allianz 15 premiership at the aptly renamed 'Queensholm' stadium.
And 2023-24 is already shaping up to be an incredible season for the squad, who are yet to lose a game — with Cotswold RAW back onboard to support them along the way.
As well as partnering with the team for a second season, the raw pet food company continues to sponsor Gloucester-Hartpury player, Zoe Aldcroft, who also plays for England women's national rugby union team.
Chris Brierley, co-founder and company director at Cotswold RAW, said: 'We are in our second season as sponsor of the Gloucester-Hartpury Women's rugby team. To be involved last year, for their inaugural premiership winning year, was truly inspiring and an incredibly fun journey to be part of — culminating in the trophy being lifted in the sunshine at Queensholm in June.
'Building on the successes of winning the Allianz premiership last year, we are excited to be involved again this year with the wider team and Zoe Aldcroft. The region has really got behind them as an elite team to be proud of. Lots of the team have lovely pets too, so we enjoy being their nutritional partners.'
Cotswold RAW is a leading producer of raw food for dogs and cats, following a recipe of raw meat, bones, herbs and vegetables to replicate these pets' natural diet. Owners can also get deliveries straight to their door through its convenient subscription service, taking the admin out of feeding their furry friends.
Rugby fans can meet the Cotswold RAW team to find out more about raw feeding at the Gloucester-Hartpury Women's vs Harlequins Women game at Kingsholm Stadium on Friday 8 March 2023.
