Growth business to watch, Cotswold RAW, has revealed plans to relocate to Bourton-on-the-Water this summer 2024 — moving into £1 million premises which will allow it to double its production capacity as demand for its raw pet food continues to grow.
With around 10 per cent of dog owners now opting to feed a raw diet, Cotswold RAW's high quality raw food, natural treats and supplements for dogs and cats are highly sought-after.
The company currently supplies over 500 UK retailers and delivers its raw food recipes directly to 2,500 homes each month — making over two million meals every year.
Its new, 30,000 sq ft facility in Bourton-on-the-Water allows it to double its production capacity, while keeping the brand firmly rooted in the Cotswolds, just 15 miles from its original site.
Mark Lewis, managing director and co-founder of Cotswold RAW, said: 'Production capacity has been limited at the current sites and it’s taken a two-year search to find the right location which aligns with our business needs.
'We were determined to stay true to our Cotswold roots and keep our manufacturing in the countryside. It was also very important to retain our 30-strong loyal team, many of whom have been with us since the very start of our RAW journey.
'The move will be transformative for the business, from increasing production, through to improving team efficiency from all being together at one central location. The new site and systems introduced will be a game changer for the business.'
Established by Mark and his co-founder, Chris Brierley, in 2015, Cotswold RAW is an independent, family-run business that uses human-grade meats and locally sourced ingredients to produce raw food for dogs and cats.
Its range includes complete recipes, complementary single-protein meals and a comprehensive choice of natural treats and supplements.
It's set to be a busy summer for the Cotswold RAW team, with plans to visit local county shows including The Game Fair at Blenheim Palace in July and the Moreton Show in September, too — while delivery of its award-winning food continues as normal.
