Gloucestershire-based architects, coombes:everitt, has announced a new senior role within its established architectural practice.
As the new associate director, Mike Court joins the leadership team, headed up by founders and practice directors Toby Coombes and John Everitt, to drive and contribute to the growth of the business.
Bringing more than 20 years' experience to the role, specialising in education and sustainable design, Court is a RIBA Chartered architect who previously held the position of director for education and commercial architecture at a Gloucester-based firm.
He's also acted as a technical advisor to the Department of Education for the last 10 years and has worked with a plethora of local, high-profile clients, including Cheltenham Ladies' College, the University of Gloucestershire, Westonbirt School, Pate's Grammar School and Malvern St James Girls' School, just over the Worcestershire border
As well as a wealth of experience in the education sector, Court brings his passion for Passivhaus and sustainable design to his new role at coombes:everitt.
The business already has a strong reputation within the sector, with projects for National Star, AccXel Construction School and Cheltenham College; with Court's appointment further strengthening its team of architects and technicians.
