For over four decades, WARNERS has been a premier destination for automotive excellence, showcasing the pinnacle of Peugeot and Citroën vehicles.
In 2018, WARNERS proudly marked a century of dedicated service to its loyal customers. Since 2012, WARNERS has represented Isuzu for Gloucestershire. From August 2024, with over a century of experience, they joined a select group of 75 dealerships across the UK in introducing Omoda and Jaecoo, reinforcing their commitment to providing cutting-edge automotive solutions.
Alongside the sales side of the business, WARNERS remains an authorised repairer for both Peugeot and Citroën, providing warranty repairs, servicing, MOTs and maintenance at both their Gloucester and Tewkesbury locations with factory-trained technicians using the latest technology to ensure top-notch service.
SoGlos chats to managing director, Mark Jones, about embracing the future.
What makes WARNERS stand out?
We are very proud to still be independent and family owned, offering something different and more personal than many larger corporate public limited companies.
At WARNERS we have a real focus on building and maintaining long relationships with our loyal customers.
What are some of the top highlights from the last 100 years?
I know I’m of a certain age, but I’ve only been here at WARNERS for the past 35 years!
In all seriousness, there have been many highlights during my career here, including numerous manufacturer awards for both sales achievements and customer satisfaction performance.
What does the future hold for WARNERS?
The motor trade sector we operate in is constantly evolving and adapting and with the move to electrification and alternative fuels to petrol and diesel, there are monumental changes ahead.
One thing is clear though, with various online-only entrants coming into the sector and failing, there is still a huge demand for traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ car dealerships for customers who want to visit and interact with real people.
We are in a great position to deliver exactly what our customers are looking for, along with the latest technology and, of course, the latest products.
What motoring developments are you most excited about and why?
We are at the very beginning of the journey with Omoda and Jaecoo entering the UK car market.
Having seen their vision and ambitions for the UK, it is very clear they mean business and within the next two years we will have a lineup of six models offering something for everyone with unrivalled specifications at a price point that will certainly be disruptive to more established legacy car brands.
