Rosa's Thai in Cheltenham

Big news for Gloucestershire foodies — popular London restaurant, Rosa's Thai, has finally opened its latest restaurant on Cheltenham’s Promenade, offering diners the chance to tuck in to authentic Thai food served in a relaxed atmosphere.

Located at 16 The Promenade in what was previously TM Lewin, diners can expect ingredients sourced straight from Thai producers, from the tamarind sauce that goes into each pad Thai to the coconut milk used in every curry, so the final dishes taste exactly like they would if they'd been cooked in Thailand.

Bistro 23 in Tetbury

Bistro 23 in Tetbury opened its doors on Valentine's Day within the historic Ormond Hotel — offering contemporary dining for couples, families and foodies with the aim of 'redefining the local culinary scene in Tetbury'.

Promising a memorable experience, head chef Dariusz Krzan — who is renowned for his innovative flair — has created a menu which celebrates the area’s rich agricultural traditions, combining gastropub comfort with the sophistication of fine dining.

The Biryani Pot in Stroud

A new family-run business serving up food from southern India has joined the rich street food market lineup at Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud, with the launch of The Biryani Pot

Diners can go for goat or chicken, marinated with a homemade masala blend of twenty different spices and herbs, cooked with basmati rice and crispy onion; while veggies can choose either the vegetable or vegan biryani for all the flavour without the meat.

Kinn Kinn at Gloucester Food Dock

Another Thai destination which opened this month is Kinn Kinn. The popular street food firm from Newport Market has just joined the eclectic lineup at Gloucester Food Dock.

Inspired by chef and owner Gena Dyer's Thai roots, the menu features vibrant, fresh and spicy flavours, with signature dishes like Moo Ping — grilled barbecue pork skewers, as well as traditional favourites such as pad Thai and Thai green curry. And for something truly unqiue, diners can even try Kinn Kinn’s own ‘Falling Angel Chilli Beer’.

Everlast at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham

After closing for refurbishment back in January, Everlast at Cheltenham's Brewery Quarter reopened its gym with a brand-new look, fitness equipment and facilities this February 2025.

The updated venue offers a range of shiny new equipment and new studios which are home to a new group of training concepts: Hustle, Haymaker, Cranked, Breathe, Backbone and Apex.

Verdure in Tetbury

Refillable in Tetbury opened a new bistro above its high street shop in Tetbury this February 2025 — offering freshly squeezed, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, fresh shots and more.

Founded and run by mother and daughter duo Stamena and Leny Dimitrova, the pair first opened their eco-friendly, plastic-free grocery shop back in November 2024, with plans to expand to a bistro upstairs later in 2025. However, the shop has proven so popular that they have opted to open Verdure much earlier than anticipated, creating three more jobs for the Cotswolds town.
