Regency Vets in Leckhampton
Ensuring people's pets are its absolute priority, as well as offering a warm and welcoming family feel, partnered with exceptional standards of professional care, Regency Vets is set to open doors in Leckhampton near Cheltenham, this April 2024.
Described as a 'proudly independent veterinary practice where client and pet experience comes first', owners Olivia Crowe and Alex Hewett aim to form relationships with pet owners, offering personalised treatments for each individual pet, while still offering competitive pricing.
While an exact opening date is yet to be confirmed, Regency Vets is expected to open by the end of April 2024.
Sassy & Boo in Broadway
Independent women's fashion brand, Sassy & Boo, which already has venues in Cirencester, Tetbury, Bath and beyond is set to open its ninth Cotswolds unit this month, in Broadway, providing shoppers with a beautiful range of clothing, footwear and accessory brands.
While an official opening date is yet to be confirmed, in a comment on Instagram, Sassy & Boo revealed it expects to open its doors around the second week in April 2024 — but will update everyone with a date soon, once the building work is finished.
Stroud Library
Moving from its old location in Lansdown to a more central and accessible site which is 'designed to meet the needs of people who use it', Stroud Library is set to open at its new base at the Five Valleys Shopping Centre from Tuesday 2 April 2024 at 10am.
The library will be in a new and fully refurbished area where visitors can browse a vast range of adult and children's books. Plus, there will be a new 'Lab Area' to provide the opportunity to experience 3D design/print, virtual reality, access to the full Adobe Creative Suites and much more.
Stroud Library is now open and is completely free to join.
Elote at Gloucester Food Dock
Elote is inspired by trips to the USA and Mexico and will bring a celebration of true Mexican cuisine to the city when it opens at Gloucester Food Dock — with dishes like elote corn, ceviche and pastor tacos on offer, in a cosy terracotta-coloured space.
The business will buy specialist ingredients direct from Mexican grocers to provide an authentic experience, similar to what you could expect in homes and restaurants across the country.
With the opening date having been pushed back for the past couple of months, doors to the Mexican eatery are finally expected to be open by the end of April 2024.
Strip at Gloucester Food Dock
Relocating from Stroud to Gloucester Food Dock this April 2024, Strip Steak Bar is bringing premium quality Black Angus strip steak at affordable prices to Gloucester, with a fast-paced, casual dining setting and meals available to eat in or take away.
Signature dishes include premium sirloin strip steak with beef dripping fries; and strip steak wrap with crispy onions and Cheddar sauce; as well as a non-meat option featuring a special vegan steak.
While the much anticipated opening date is yet to be confirmed, the restaurant is expected to finally open later this month.
Curl Central in Stroud
Offering a salon experience 'exclusively' for those with curly hair, Curl Central has opened its first premises on Stroud's Kendrick Street this month, celebrating and empowering natural hair — with every cut tailored to the uniqueness of each client's respective curl pattern.
Owner, Jed Vaughan, said her own encounters with disappointing curl cuts became the catalyst for elevating her curl training and thus part of the reason for launching her new salon. The business is now open, with bookings available online.
