Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

'I made my family disappear...' See Kevin McCallister's capers at Cineworld at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham and Gloucester Quays, with both hosting back-to-back screenings of Christmas classics Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York on Saturday 14 December 2024.

Elf

You'd have to be a cotton-headed ninny-muggins to miss Elf on the big screen this festive season. Catch it at TIVOLI Cinema in Cheltenham on Sunday 1 and Tuesday 3 December; Vue Cinema in Stroud on selected dates up to Thursday 26 December; Cineworld Cheltenham and Gloucester on Sunday 1 December; and Dunkertons Cinema Club on Sunday 22 December 2024.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

There goes Mr Humbug, there goes Mr Grim, if they gave a prize for being mean, the winner would be him! See the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, brought to life by The Muppets, on the big screen this Christmas — with showings of this family favourite at Cheltenham's Cineworld on Thursday 19 December and Gloucester Guildhall on Saturday 14 and Thursday 19 December 2024. 

Love Actually

Classic Christmas rom com Love Actually is essential watching over the festive season — and it celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. Grab a bucket of popcorn, cuddle up with your loved ones and enjoy a special screening at Cineworld Cheltenham and Gloucester on Friday 13 December; and Vue Cinema in Stroud on Friday 13 and Wednesday 18 December 2024.

The Holiday

It's A Wonderful Life

When the weight of the world gets on top of him, George Bailey is shown what things would have been like without him and his lifetime of good deeds in this heartwarming Christmas classic. It's A Wonderful Life is showing at Gloucester Guildhall on Thursday 19 and Saturday 21 December; The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury on Tuesday 17 and Friday 20 December; and it's on at Cineworld in Cheltenham and Gloucester on Monday 9 December 2024, too. 

The Grinch

The Nutcracker Live

While not strictly a Christmas film, this live screening of The Nutcracker, performed by The Royal Ballet, is sure to be an unmissable Christmas experience.
