Fresh: Art Fair brings Britain’s biggest choice of art to Cheltenham Racecourse each year, with 40 galleries exhibiting 4,000 original works from 400 artists spanning paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics and glass. Gloucestershire art lovers can browse a huge variety of art, with pieces by famous names like Hockney, Matisse, Miro and Picasso exhibited alongside exciting new talent.

Buy original prints by Picasso, Miro and more

Original prints are a surprisingly affordable way to own original art made by your favourite artists — and this year, Paragon Modern Masters has a selection of rare original prints from 'celebrated modern masters' like Pablo Picasso, David Hockney, Joan Miro and more — making ideal investment pieces for established and novice collectors.

Participate in inspiring artist-led workshops

For art lovers who want to try their hand at making their own masterpieces, painter Caroline Deighton is hosting free workshops on Friday 4 April 2025, helping participants paint colourful sunsets and majestic mountain ranges using water mixable oils.

See work from Zimbabwe's most exciting artists

Nhaka Designs brings a celebration of Zimbabwean art to Cheltenham, with a collection that blends the country's rich heritage with contemporary creativity and provides art lovers a chance to own artwork they'll have likely never seen before.

Admire 3D art from one of Frank Gehry's favourite sculptors

Contemporary sculptor, Mel Fraser, specialises in stone, creating both abstract and figurative pieces — some of which have even been installed in Frank Gehry's Opus Building in Hong Kong. Represented by Synergy Fine Art, collectors will be able to get their hands on Mel's instantly recognisable work at Fresh: Art Fair this April 2025.

Wiltshire's premier art gallery, Oink Gallery, comes to Fresh: Art Fair for the first time in April, bringing a diverse collection of work from established and emerging artists from all over the world, curated by founder and director Mark Pepperall. 

Meet new artist Shalini Bharadwaj

Indian acrylic, mixed media and digital design artist, Shalini Bharadwaj, makes her Fresh: Art Fair debut this year. Describing herself as a 'creative experimentalist' who doesn't work in preconceived ideas, but lets the material and momentum take her where they lead, By Design Collective is showcasing a number of Shalini's works, with her use of vivid colour sure to catch collectors' eyes.

Snap up bestselling sustainable sculptures

Angus Clyne's sustainable wood sculptures were a standout bestseller at Fresh: Art Fair London in January — and Wingates Gallery is bringing his impressive new collection to Cheltenham in April. Made using sustainable Scottish wood, hand-carved and layered with Danish oil, Angus's distinctive work is a must-see at the event this spring.

Enter the Fresh: Young Artist competition

There's a new competition for budding young artists at this year's Fresh: Art Fair, where the masters of tomorrow can show off their creativity. In partnership with event sponsor RRA Architects, entrants are asked to design their dream home using any paper-based medium to submit at the RRA stand while at the fair — with categories for children aged eight and under; nine to 12; and 13 and up.

Take home highly collectible neo-pop art from Paris

Travelling from Paris to Cheltenham, Gallerie Barrou Planquart specialises in urban and neo-pop art. It is bringing a unique selection of highly collectible work from both well-established and the most exciting emerging French and international artists to Fresh: Art Fair 2025.

Browse spring sculptures

While it's a little too early in the year for an outdoor sculpture park, Fresh: Art Fair's Spring Collective features a diverse range of outdoor sculptures from the likes of Simon Probyn, sure to make a standout feature in any garden when summer finally comes around.

Regular visitors to Fresh: Art Fair will probably be familiar with contemporary glass specialist A Heart of Glass, having sold nearly 400 pieces at previous events. Returning for its eighth year in 2025, A Heart of Glass has a brand-new collection to showcase, with a focus on work by British artists.
